The British Isles Grooming Association (BIGA) was created in 2016 to promote the highest standards in animal care and welfare during pet grooming. We are mostly volunteer-run (we have a paid part-time Admin person about four hours per week) and, though we are a trade association.

Your pet groomer is more likely than not to be the animal care professional who knows your pet best and sees and treats your pet most often. BIGA encourages closer relationships with our customers so that interaction creates interest. Pet grooming is more than just a cosmetic consideration. It is beneficial to your pet's health and well-being. We want to get this word out to MILLIONS of pet owners across the United Kingdom. Thank you for helping. It is truly, genuinely appreciated.
