We are delighted to announce that For All DogKind Natural Grooming has invited BIGA to take part in the annual PATS (Pets & Aquatics Trade Show) show in Telford this year. This will take place over 3 days: Sunday 29^th September, Monday 30^th September and Tuesday 1^st October.

We will be holding:

•  Development Workshops

•  Grooming demonstrations on Poodle cross dogs (Doodles)*

•  Talks covering a range of topics relating to pet groomers

DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS

There will be three workshops, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday from 10.00 – 11.30am, where groomers can carry out a groom on a dog of their choosing. Each participant will receive a Certificate of Participation and individual feedback from the judge.

In addition, there will be rosettes for:

• Best groom by a BIGA member
• Best groom
• Best handling
• Best prepped dog

N.B. Participants will need to bring their own table and dog.

Rules:

• 15 people max per workshop
• Dogs must be prepped the previous day
• Small/medium sized dogs only
• Can be breed or mixed breed

BIGA members £45

Non-members: £50

DEMONSTRATIONS

Grooming demonstrations on Poodle cross dogs (Doodles)

How many groomers spend a large proportion of their time grooming doodles? A top groomer such as Groom Team England member Christine Anderton* will demonstrate a doodle groom – well worth watching! * To be announced

Talks covering a range of topics relating to pet groomers

Topics to be announced but here are some examples:

• Improving your grooming business including how to add value by introducing pet retail
• BIGA Best Practice Certificate
• How social media can benefit your business
• How BIGA can improve and help your grooming business
